LOST is a magazine created by Graphic Artist, Sophie Crabbe.
The magazine focuses on the overlooked, overshadowed and mundane aspects of rural life. Centred around the village where I grew up, LOST highlights how regeneration of Cities and towns, alongside the consumerism of society have left rural villages behind. I realised that although overshadowed, these places/objects/people were actually more important to individuals than many world changing events. I found this relationship very interesting, and wanted to explore it further.
LOST Magazine is a collection of visual essays, all created by the artist. By predominantly using photography the magazine lets the reader relate to the images, and project their own meanings onto the images.
